Mothers day

Happy mothers day to all the mummies, moms, mums and mothers and Gaia who is in labour OUCH.

I gave myself a mother's day present. I set a default button.. default dad I am calling it.. It went like this, “Mummie can I have a drink?” Saffron says “ask dad”. “Mum why does Rebekah like prawns?” – “Ask dad”. ”Can I dip my biscuit in your tea?” – “Use dad's”. Mmm I am still laughing. She queries "why?" I say cause it is Mum's day. So now she snuggles me quietly, I'm reading a magazine question free. Laptops are great. So I have had brain space today and I am pondering creativity...

This morning I laughed at what my 4 year old was playing with.. A scrap of fariys and Amy Gunstons Giraffe. They are all drinking tea. I am thinking so sweet.

Almost sold out

Our clearance sale has been very successful, thanks to all you lovely people for stopping by. As a result I wont be attending the Birchgrove school fair tomorrow Saturday May 9, as I don't have much to sell anymore!!

A 10 out of 10 morning.

At 8 am this morning I had already had a 10 out of 10 morning. I took an amazing walk along the foreshore of the harbour, admiring the old trees with their twisted trucks and interwoven branches. I noted the stillness of high tide and the shade of grey the water was- it might also have been silver. I ate a wonderful breakfast had a lovely cup of tea. While my daughter danced around me in her ballet slippers, I sat down and read comments from you all and felt how grateful I am for this life. Then I realized it is my mums birthday. Happy birthday Mum!
