New fabrics available now

Saffron Craig - Monday, June 08, 2009
We have put our latest collection of fabrics into our shop; the Owls and the Fields range, so it can now be purchased. Yahoo!

Patrick has done a touch up of the website which we are both pleased with. Bigger images for the products and a funky flying owl! Sweet!

Wow this fabric is wonderful. I am not sure how I was signed up to receive email updates from you but I just got the one with this fabric and love it. I will definitely purchase some this weekend when I have time to browse.

P.S, I love the hexagons they are all awesome. :)

I absolutely love the new Fields Range, especially the Dandelion Circles .. so 'fresh' .. love it !
One thing I like with your bags is the personal touch of hand sewing along the edges of fabric, just gives it that little 'something' I think .. rather than a mass produced line of items.

Patrick did a great job updating the site - and I just LOVE hippo - he looks amazing in the blossom print, a happy fellow I am sure.

Dandelion bag

Saffron Craig - Sunday, June 07, 2009
I had a play with the yellow and pink dandelions mixing them with a colourful fabric I won from the  sew mamma sew website This bag is a similar shape to the black bag on a previous post however I have added a few new design lines to the bag. I am going to put this to use straight away.

Field range hexagons

Saffron Craig - Thursday, June 04, 2009
I have started to cover the paper hexagons  with the fields range. This is my first sewing project with my fields range. Fabrics always become something new when they get cut up. I am going to enjoy watching this quilt grow.

The Fields range is so pretty!! Love seeing what you are doing with the designs. What a shame you won't be having a stall at the Quilt and Craft Fair!

I have started a hexagon quilt. A hand stitching project for these wet nights. Will I go crazy? Paper cut outs here I come.

Saffron Craig - Tuesday, June 02, 2009
Hello here is a picture of Rani in her wedding dress. She made it herself out of canvas and we signed it at the end of the night.

So cool! It's a gorgeous looking dress - it doesn't look like it's made from canvas! Love her bouquet too. :-)

The dress is amazing! Getting people to sign it is a brilliant idea!
