Holland

Saffron Craig - Sunday, July 19, 2009
Australia is a long way away now. We are in full summer here in Holland- and it feels great. We are staying with Patrick's parents- Daphney and Jans' where we will be for two weeks. The first photo is taken from the window where I am sitting, it shows the park 20 meters away. The church bell rings on the hour which is something new for me.
The picture underneath depicts the view from our bedroom. It is  one section of the garden. We can eat the plums and the apples.
This country is so flat so it is excellent for bike riding, I have been on the bike many times already. It is really lovely here. I will take my camera further tomorrow.

Daphney and Jans' lush garden.

This is one side of Daphneys' work room- her studio. I love looking at peoples workspace. Her cat is a regular feature.

Hi Saffron, I love seeing peoples workspaces too. I have a cat that looks just like that, but she chews on everything plastic (including expensive doll hands) so unfortunately she lives outside. I'm going to be posting pictures of my workspace next Monday (27th of July).
