A big congratulations to Kate Conklin for her pregnancy of her 3rd child. Kate shared a heartfelt story on her blog of how grateful she is for this pregnancy, actually I am sure it rang true with many people. I am certainly very happy for you Kate.
While growing this baby Kate has managed to create this beautiful new quilt called Skittles, reminiscent of the kids pin bowling game.
It's available in our shop in 2 sizes, as a baby quilt and a throw quilt, and comes in 2 colourways, one for girls and one for boys. Though I have sold a lot of the indigo Bird Tree range for girls. My neighbor even asked me to make her daughter a quilt featuring the Bird Tree in sky blue.
Thank you Kate for another great quilt! Thanks also for all your support and kindness.

If you haven't tried the slash-and-stack method why not give it a go? It's really addictive and suitable for any level of quilting experience you may have.
And on a side note, we have nearly sold out of all of the Bird Tree in magenta and purple, so there's only a few of the Skittles kits as pictured above available, please be quick and don't miss out if you like it!

Wow, such a gorgeous quilt. I love the effect of 'organised randomness'. You must love seeing what others do with your fabrics. I am going to make the fairy hearts quilt, I have collected the fabrics of your range (that I could find) with some limited substitution. Just having hand surgery, and the other hand once I am healed on the left side, I cannot foresee me doing much sewing for a couple of months :(, being a sewer (everyday!) this is a huge inconvenience. Until I heal, I will have to be satisfied looking at other peoples sewing (oh, and maybe planning my future projects :D )
