Off to Europe

We bought our tickets in January and now we are counting down until we fly out to Holland where Patrick’s parents live. We cant wait to visit Oma and Opa and enjoy long, long days together. The Dutch storybooks are out and Sequoia is reiterating those long words. She is looking forward to the ponies nearby Oma's village she can ride. I am looking forward to quilting tips from her who is a genius quilter and my teacher. Not to mention the villages, the architecture and galleries.

Then I am leaving the family and going across the water to London, my best mate Sam is living near the London zoo so I am kipping on her couch. I am researching  cool shops to visit, shows to go to. Art galleries to inspire me, market pieces to fill up my full bag. It is summer over there and we are in the midst of winter, if you have any tips on what to see I would love to hear about them. I found myself swearing under my breath at how much there is to see in London. In a good way. Sam said the food has improved a lot as well. Yay, a proper pub. I wonder if I will make it to a yoga class? mmmm.

Then I meet up again to see the other half of the family, to enjoy the last part of our holiday in Switzerland. We have our own flat in Zurich - yippee. In Switzerland I plan to swim in lakes and hike mountains and see many many cows and alps. I will shop too as I can't help myself. Oh yes and we will drop over the border to France to eat. Well that is the plan.

That gnome book in this post is my most favourite book ever! It is just so much fun. I like to believe that it's all true. Sometime i think that we have a city Gnome that lives at my place in Toronto, Ontario. We wondered what you would leave for a city Gnome. would it be beer or a metro ticket?
Have fun on your trip!

Cute little bottoms. Can she really say those long words?
