While I was designing these fabrics, specifically the Owl Nesting, I was imagining making it into garments. Funnily enough it is pre-school photo day for our Blossom. She was very excited to have a new dress and like a celebrity she waltzed into Kindi. Yes she wore her sunnies (all her idea)! I am thinking oh lal la. Oh well she is proud as punch probably a good mirror for me to recognize. I still err on the shy side.

Hi Saffron, I adore your new fabrics - thank you for inspiring me! I have been looking for the pillowcase dress pattern which I think your little daughter is wearing. I know it is very simple but may I request the pattern name from you.
Heartfelt thanks from Heidi.

Saffron, I love the owls and am planning to use it to tie in the red wall in my little girl's room with the rest of the girlie colors in there. I would probably use it in one of their quilts I'm going to make.

Just lovely. My daughter loves wearing my handmade dresses to child care, too... but then they come home splattered with food and paint. Sob!

What a fabulous dress! I bet she was the swankiest preschooler in the school photo!
