The colour Orange

Saffron Craig - Sunday, August 14, 2011

To eat a kumquat you pop the entire fruit into your mouth and chew, chew, chew. With skin and all. If you've never had one I highly recommend the experience. It's like eating a tiny sugar covered lemon.

The colour orange—what is there not to like?

Orange is one of my most favorite colors! don't think I've ever had a kumquat but I love oranges. Great photo!

One of the best things about orange is that it's almost the color of Saffron. :)

continued from above... In the seventies we had orange everything: cane baskets, crockery, vases, furniture... you name it. Here's an orange piece of furniture I made in the seventies... http://threadingmyway.blogspot.com/2011/08/old-project.html

Orange... back to the seventies. Kitchens were either orange or lime green. I'm glad we chose orange, as we still have the same orange benchtops. I went through a stage of not liking orange, but now I don't mind it. I don't think I'll ever love it like
I did in the seventies, though.
