This is what my desk top holds this morning:
A pin cushion from the wonderful Sewing on the Edge where you can get them from.
Magical Lands post card which I pop into all the new orders (if you want one gotta order some fabric ;).
A envelope full of sparkles, beads and sequins for my two year old nephew Okie who's into treasures.

Oooh today my desk is an action location! I just finished making my first quilt (with Saffron Craig fabrics of course) so there is thread, pins, sewing machine etc. Hidden under the scraps of fabric is a pile of bills to pay, a calendar, pen and notepad. There is also a dragon carrot from our garden that I need to photograph for my husband's blog next to our laptop and camera needed to complete the task.

your desk top looks really lovely. If I had to take a photo of my desk top right now, it wouldn't look near as nice as yours. I'm always straightening it up, but it always looks like it does.

Half full intray, half full outtray, stapler, stamps, coke zero and assorted officy stuff. OOh I do have a softie of a little house I made out of a softie book, he is gorgeous and has a big smile :)

I am ashamed - my desktop is so messy that I have my laptop on the dining table. On my desk are:
3 months worth of filing, an art deco lamp, CDS, blank Cds, telephone, glass paper weights (I just ran in to see what else was there and yay I finally found the bag for dirty cloth nappies - what was it doing there?), a vase, LOTS of pens in a vintage milk jug, and my map of Paris filing envelopes (that were supposed to make me a very tidy person). Oh and my PC - which we can't get to, to use. ha.
