Love Lace exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum

Saffron Craig - Tuesday, August 09, 2011
The Love Lace exhibition at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney is a must see. 135 international artists contributed to this astounding International exhibition of artworks interpreting the concept of lace.

The exhibition creates an amazing atmosphere with interactions, projections and genius lighting. Sometimes I was transported by the shadowy silhouettes that the lace creates.

Interacting with the projections

Lace and its shadowy silhouettes

It sort of made my heart soar, I was enchanted. A well of thoughts and magic.

As you can see I had a lovely time interacting with the artworks. The buzzer told me to move away form the artwork several time as I tried to figure out how it was constructed.

Ha ha. That's me too with clothing. Just want to see inside and up close. Such a shame they think there is something wrong with doing that. Thanks for sharing.
