If I were to have a home away from home it
would be Zurich. I lived here and looking back I can see it was the
pinnacle of who I would become. I discovered the beginnings of what
made me happy. I discovered yoga. I understood how to work for myself.
I taught myself how to use a computer, to type, to use programs, I
took time to discover how to be happy on my own, I also learned that I
wanted to love Patrick, create a life with him, and wanted my life to celebrate love. I am told I am an idealist! he he so I am.

Last night I sat by the river of Zurich.
Sequoia fascinated by a white swan, with her seven grey goslings
(having only seen black swans). I realized that the last time I had sat
in this spot was with a dear friend. I felt happy remembering her and
knowing as I knew all that time ago life would take us in different
directions and we would never meet again. Even with the advent of
facebook. You meet you engage and you move upward or forward.
Zurich is asking me to live with her again. Sequoia is a traveler like her parents, and Switzerland the center of so many worlds.
